Overflow camping
During peak periods such as school holidays, Easter and long weekends, the local caravan parks are often fully booked. For these times, overflow camping sites in Jurien Bay and Cervantes are opened to cater for the demand.
Overflow sites for both towns are located at the town ovals and adjacent community centres provide toilet and hot shower facilities.
The overflow sites are managed by volunteers from the local sport and recreation committees and all fees are retained by these groups to contribute to the ongoing maintenance, improvement, and operation of these sites.
All overflow sites are unpowered, but generators are allowed within reasonable time constraints.
Bookings are required for the Jurien Bay overflow, however bookings will not be available until the local caravan park advise that they are fully booked for the period. Click on the link below to make your booking.
Overflow camp fees are $25 per site (two adults, two children). Additional guests are $5 per adult and $3 per child. Seniors campsites are $20 per night (for two adults). Additional guests $5/$3 per night if applicable.
Cervantes overflow is not available for pre-booking at this point, but volunteer staff will collect your fees once you have arrived and set up, however please note, overflow is not available until the local caravan park is full so please check there first.
Pets are allowed at both overflow sites but must be kept on a lead in the camp area.
Should you require information about the Cervantes overflow call 0408 265 344. For Jurien Bay call 0461 288 859.
